What is Applied Behavior Analysis?

ABA is the scientific study of Behavior. It is the application of the science devoted to improvements in socially relevant Behavior. It demonstrates a functional relationship between events in the environment that change Behavior.

 
ABA and Behavior Modification?

Behavior analysis is a scientific approach to understanding behavior. Behavior is anything a person or animal does that can be observed and measured. It refers to all kinds of actions and skills appropriate or inappropriate.

The study of behavior includes understanding environmental factors which alter behavior. The science of behavior analysis focuses on how behavior works,or how learning takes place.

Decades of research in Behavior Analysis, have helped developbehavior principles, for increasing useful and appropriate behaviors and reducing harmful or inappropriate behaviors. Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is the use of these researched techniques and principles in a methodical manner to bring about meaningful behavior change.

ABA and Age of Skill acquisition?
 
Age is not a factor in learning. ABA principles can be used with great benefits across people of any age.
