Manish Vaidya, PhD

Manish Vaidya earned his bachelor and master’s degrees at the University of North Texas and his Ph.D. at the University of Florida. Following a brief post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Kansas, he returned to the University of North Texas where he is now an associate professor in the Department of Behavior Analysis. Manish has been interested in issues related to stimulus control since nearly the beginning of his graduate training. His current research interests involve attending, short-term remembering and the development and maintenance of equivalence relations in pigeons and people. He is also interested in philosophical issues as they relate to science, the development of knowledge, and the application of that knowledge to solve socially relevant issues. He currently serves as the co-editor of The Experimental Analysis of Human Behavior Bulletin and on the Board of Editors of the Journal of Experimental Analysis of Behavior and The Behavior Analyst.
   

Karola Dillenburger, PhD

Dr. Dillenburger is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst-Doctoral (BACB-D) and Chartered Clinical Psychologist (Health Professionals Council, HPC) and qualified Social Worker. She is a Reader at the School of Education at Queen’s University, Belfast, and responsible for the M.Sc. in Autism Spectrum Disorders.

Dr. Dillenburger supervises numerous PhD and EdD students in behaviour analysis and autism. She has published widely in books and peer-reviewed highly rated journals, e.g., Research in Autism Spectrum Disorders, International Journal for Educational Research, Journal of Applied Research in Intellectual Disabilities etc. Her research in these areas is funded by Government (Office of the First Minister and Deputy First Minister; OFMDFM), as well as Research councils and others (ESRC, The Technology Strategy Board, Royal Irish Academy, etc). She has co-authored numerous other CD ROMS on behaviour analysis (www.celticfringe.me.uk ). Her expertise is in the area of early intervention in Autism Spectrum Disorder as well as parent training, empowerment, and social validity assessment. Dr Dillenburger is the lead academic in the Queen's University Autism Research and Treatment (QUART) Centre (www.qub.acuk/quart)

   

Dr Rajeshwari Ganesh, MD

Dr. Ganesh is a consultant developmental pediatrician practicing in Mumbai. Apart from her private consulting clinics in Mumbai, she also consults at the Learning Disability Clinic Sion hospital Mumbai and Bethany Hospital.

After her postgraduate training in Pediatrics, she worked at Ummeed Child Development center. She subsequently was awarded the Rotarian Ambassadorial Scholarship to train abroad in the field of Developmental Pediatrics. She worked in the Port Royale Hospital Paris, France with Dr Amiel Tison, who has done pioneering work in the field of neurodevelopmental assessments in infants. She was a fellow in the National University Hospital Singapore in the developmental Pediatrics Unit with Dr Rosebeth Marcou.

Dr Rajeshwari is clinically certified to administer the ADOS [Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule] . She also administers a wide range of developmental assessment tools including the PREP which help delineate a child’s neurodevelopment profile. With the help of these objective assessment tools, she formulates suitable intervention goals for children. Her present research interests at the learning disability clinic include cognitive profiles in children with neurological conditions.
